Since most major functions of PHP (MySQL, mail, etc) already have built-in functions, and since GD has been stuck in beta for a long, long time, without proper support (webalizer has troubles with 2.0 and there are no high-end support for sampling in 1.8.x), please add full Image function capabilities to PHP 4.3/4.4 and up? This will also make installation for graphic capabilities easier cross-platforms.

From 4.3.0 there is bundled GD library (2.0.1 + lot of bug fixes and some additional functions).
