When the apache module is loaded, trying to launch applications with context menus freezes Windows. Explorer has to be killed (Alt-Ctrl-Del) and Windows automatically restarts it, messing up display and losing all tray icons. Happened with Win95b, 98SE; Apache 1.3.12 and 1.3.14; PHP 4.0.1 up to 4.0.5dev, all versions.

much to less information.
is this happening with some specific code?
is it related to an extension?
is it related to the apache module only?
...
please provide more information, i'm unable to reproduce it btw.

Not enough info, no feedback -> closed.

I've the same problem, but I am running a Tomcat3.0. I think it has something to do with xerces, since somehow I managed (once) to get rid of the bug, and now at each explorer startup a message "Searching for xerces_***.dll" appears.
OS is NT4.0.

And "not enough information" is definitely wrong, because thats all the information you can get from the problem without running a debugger on your own.
