The function OCIFetchInto() alters all fetched rows into an array. Let's say I've a query like this: "SELECT name FROM user". When this query is processed by OCIFetchInto() the array will look like this: array('NAME' => 'value'). The row name is changed into uppercase. Shouldn't it be lowercase as in the query?

In mysql_fetch_array() this works. I've been using mysql for a long time now. I have been accessing all arrays with lowercase. But now I have started on a new project where we are going to use Oracle. And now I have to go trought my scripts, and change all array keys into uppercase.

oracle does return all column names in uppercase, the driver does no magic to it - soory, that's the way it is.
