When i tried to use the function socket() i get an error message like this "Call undefined function socket() on line n."

I have installed version 4.0.2 on my linux box but i try to use the function with version 4.0.3pl1 too, and still geting this error message.

Anybody can tell me if i do something wrong?

Regards.

You must add --enable-sockets into your configure line
for PHP 4 and recompile.
