I have the same issue. Here's a Dockerfile that reproduces the issue:

FROM php:8.0

RUN apt-get update \
    && apt-get -y install libgmp-dev libmcrypt-dev libssh2-1 libssh2-1-dev \
    && pecl install mcrypt ssh2-1.2 \
    && docker-php-ext-install gmp bcmath \
    && docker-php-ext-enable mcrypt ssh2

I can confirm that this error is still present.
I would be very interested to know when a fix is found.

Thanks to all in advance
