curl_setopt ($curlobj, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, new WhatEverObjInsteadOfArray());

causes a segmentation fault in all versions since PHP-5.

Please can you provide a complete example that shows this. I can't reproduce with:

$curlobj = curl_init();
class Foo {}
curl_setopt ($curlobj, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, new Foo());
echo "fin";
