This may be a duplicate of (stackoverflow), but unlike that issue I cannot replicate on Ubuntu.

The test case was generated on Bitnami WAMP with AWS Windows 2019 Base image, and backtrace generated using

The issue only occurs in browser, if you load the test script via CLI it works as expected. 

I was also unable to replicate the issue on Ubuntu 18.04 with PHP 7.1.26 or 7.2.15...
