I installed version 4 of PHP in conjunction with PWS. The setup programs configures the system automatically.

However, a restart of the Windows system is required before anything actually starts to work.

The setup program nor the documenation says you have to restart your system.

The setup program should really prompt you to restart it.

You have to restart PWS which is done by rebooting your system. Perhaps somthing for the 4.0.5 installer to do.
