When compiling like this the apache Server does not start ...
./configure --with-oracle=/opt/oracle/product/8.1.5 --with-apxs -without-mysql --enable-track-vars

I only get the message failed

When Comlining like this:
./configure --with-apxs --enable-track-vars

everything is fine

Can someone help me here?

What is the error message?
And is there anything in the apache logs?

Is there entry for /opt/oracle/product/8.1.5 in 
/etc/ld.so.conf ?
