Description:
------------
I run Windows XP. When I replace PHP 5.3 with 5.5, PHP gives a Server Error. This is probably intended because officially support for XP has ended.

BUT: lots of people in Africa and elsewhere use still use XP extensively.

And.. I presume the core isn't OS-dependent, but many libraries are.

So.. why deprecate ALL of XP? Just document which libraries need something better than XP. If the core works, anyone using XP can still run with a subset of the libraries (or none at all). Which is undoubtedly sufficient for most users (developers)!

XP/2003 support will be ended next year. Use older supported PHP versions.
