When the mysql client library was built with threads on Solaris, the PHP3 binary must be linked against -lpthreads. This dependency is not detenced by autoconf/configure and the -lpthreads option is missing and must be added to the LIBS line in the Makefile manually. Perhaps it is possible to link against -lpthreads in Solaris by default. If not, there should be a configuration option (--with-pthreads or --with-mysql-pthreads) for this.

Fixed, libpthread will be automatically linked in
if MySQL is being compiled in and it is detected.
