The documentation says the final parameter is "$dontrecurse", but it changed to 
be "$recurse" (and operate in reverse manner), as per 
http://svn.php.net/viewvc/pecl/svn/tags/RELEASE_0_5_0/svn.c?view=markup#l2694

The fix for this bug has been committed.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
