Description:
------------
When attempting to build php-yaml with custom CFLAGS (as is often done in distro packaging), it seems that the configure script overrides any values in the CFLAGS environment variable instead of extending them. This causes problems when (for example) trying to pass -g to the compiler to build debug information. The patch in the reproduce code section changes this behaviour.
