I can't install solr extension to php...

Thank you very much for your answer, do you know where i can 
find those for php-5.3.3-Win32-VC6-x86 ?

In fact i have to install it on Windows for test, and the 
production version will run on redhat enterprise linux 5...

I have an image with php 5.2.10 so i have to upgrade to an 
higher version of php before installing solr extension...

It's not very easy !

There is the bug in php_solr.dll for Windows, it is crashing Apache for some reason when search query is executed. Things work fine if I add/delete docs.

I have a version of php_solr.dll that works against PHP 5.3.8, email me directly if you'd like me to send it or suggest a PHP-community preferred filedump site where I can put the dll (which is fresh as of 2010-05-05, 6 months newer than Pierre's.)

Dlls for all supported php versions including 5.3 are available in the package homepage http://pecl.php.net/package/solr
