Please give us a working version for php 5.3 after many months of release. The latest trunk will not compile and the lastest stable from 2006 compiles but fails to load :-(

This extension have not had any activity for almost 11 years, suspending

what about mark unmaintained crap at pecl website?

PHP Version: PHP version 6.0.0 or older
PHP Version: PHP 5.0.0 or newer

in that case it don't build and so you face the issue but there are dozens of pecl extensions which sucessful build and one can't know if they are maintained in any way - this is SECURITY REVELEVANT if you compile and install abandoned crap with unknown problems nobody ever cares about

currently pecl.php.net is the trash can of the php project
