Bug #59044 Abnormality in wincache.php Resolve Path statistics page
Submitted: 2010-01-24 19:24 UTC Modified: 2010-01-25 12:00 UTC
From: Assigned:
Status: Closed Package: WinCache (PECL)
PHP Version: 5.2.11 OS: WINDOWS7
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2010-01-24 19:24 UTC]

While testing WINCACHE.PHP I am seeing some weird behavior. I ran a test program which should cache 3 files. Though the entry in the summary page shows 6 entries in the resolve path cache, in the resolve path cache page the first column is empty.

Couple of weirdness:
1.	Resolve path field is empty
2.	Duplicate entries
3.	Empty entry

Reproduce code:
Here is the code to reproduce this:

In the folder C:\inetpub\wwwroot\phptest create a folder named ?Library? (ensure capital ?I? in ?Library?)

In the folder C:\inetpub\wwroot\phptest create a file named test1.php with content
 require_once 'library/common_test.php';
 require_once 'library/test_code.php';

In the ?Library? folder create two files:
File named ?test_code.php? with content:

require_once $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/librarY/common_test.php';

Another file named ?common_test.php? with content:
echo 'test';

In the browser type http://localhost/phptest/test1.php

Now open your wincache.php to see the behavior.

Expected result:
I expect only two entries.

Actual result:
Duplicate entries and empty entries

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with the package.
Unfortunately you are not using a current version of the package --
the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new
version from

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions, please change the package version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PECL.

An old php_wincache.dll binary was used with latest wincache.php. Not repro with latest php_wincache.dll.
