Description:

Running PHP 5.2.5 and Apache 2.2.8 on Windows

Installed ImageMagick using ImageMagick-6.3.9-1-Q16-windows-dll.exe

Downloaded PECL 5.2.5 Non-thread-safe Win32 binaries from http://us3.php.net/downloads.php

Copied php_imagick.dll to php/ext/php_imagick.dll

Uncommented the line extension=php_imagick.dll in apache/bin/php.ini

Getting the following error upon restarting Apache:
"apache.exe - Unable To Locate Component"
"This application has failed to start because CORE_RL_magick_.dll was not found.  Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Re-installing the application (even under a different directory) does not fix the problem.

Please advise...

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with the package.
Unfortunately you are not using a current version of the package -- 
the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new
version from http://pecl.php.net/packages.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions, please change the package version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PECL.

The version of Imagick provided with PHP is heavily outdated. Can you please test: http://valokuva.org/?page_id=50 or the version shipped from http://snaps.php.net/
