Two issues relating to updating a proposal in PEPr:

1. Update comments don't support BBCode. Seems like they could/
should.

2. If the "Send update e-mail to pear-dev" box is not checked, 
changes to the package description are saved, but the 
Update Comments are not saved to the proposal changelog.

first part of this should be fixed, I'm not sure how to act on the 2) so I emailed toby ... i.e. i'm not sure if you should be able to update changlog if you don't email pear-dev :) toby will email me tomorrow or some about this ;)

Btw. the changelog for you SVN proposal ... is missing 1x [list] :) right after the first [/list]

ohh never mind i said that ... see now the second [list] but this outputs some stranges things on my local server ;) but this has been reported to BBcode package last time i knew :P Sorry! :P

Like I thought ... You shouldn't be able to Update Comment if you don't check the box...

We'll probly add some warning about this!

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.

In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.
 
Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better.

Okey after talking to toby a little, we agreed on removing the checkbox and now if the update comment textarea is filled with some text a email WILL be sent to pear-dev :) also added text to warn users about it ;)

If the text isn't enough or something isn't working then let me know :)
(You probly have to wait a little for these changes since the site has to sync with CVS)
