I installed PHP on IIS 4.0. I get Dr.Watson as soon as I try to start the w3svc. So I used the MS IIS Exception Monitor to find the Problem. The Log there just says that the Symbols for inetinfo.exe could not be loaded. So I installed these (sp4symi.exe) but the Problem is still the same. I used the optimized php.ini

Please verify that it?s still happening using the latest version of PHP (release 4.0.1pl2 or CVS).

do you use ISAPI, if so try out CGI, more stable....
