Ping?

Is this the right place to submit patches? What else do I need to do to get noticed?

Hi

Could you please re-upload the patch to the bug tracker and change the status back to 'Open' when done? The patch does not seems to be accessible.

http://php.net/manual/en/features.safe-mode.php

This feature has been DEPRECATED as of PHP 5.3.0. Relying on this feature is highly discouraged.

hmm, ok. so what is the encouraged way of using mysql safe mode support in mysqli? (did I say we need this feature?)

I believe that you gave me the wrong link. The link is about "PHP safe mode" being deprecated. My query is about "MySQL safe mode" support in PHP, which is *not* declared deprecated:
   http://php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php#ini.sect.sql-general

They are obviously not the same thing.

Please reopen the ticket, or give a better explanation.
