Calling simething bogus does not make it Bogus, just because someone else was using the gld linker doesnt mean I am.

If you would wait a few days, rather than marking something bogus, maybe something could be done.

Environment:

AIX 5.3 TL06
  vac.C                     7.0.0.10    C     F    IBM XL C Compiler

Note: GNU was not installed. As this part of PHP is broken against xlc, I am goinf to try gcc 4.1.1 (latest I could find).

(I compile many packages and PHP is the only one I regularly have issues with)

Please ask a question. I have been doing ports off and on since 1984 (not always AIX obviously).
