while prepping 5.2.2 for upload into debian, one of our local patches failed to apply because it looks like someone cut-pasted the comments  (maybe in vim with ai etc turned on) in a way that added extra stars.
super minor issue, but figured what the heck.

example:

I can hardly imagine how this was affecting your patches, but I fixed these comments.

thanks.  the comments in question were only in the context area of one of our patches, so it's not like it was a big deal or anything, just figured an unimportant oversight.
