You can reproduce the problem here:

http://blog.thepimp.net/misc/sessionmysql/session.php

You will get a random error (bad connection), the problem is due to the destruction of the mysql resource before the call of the session handlers.

The same code worked with 5.1 or earlier version of 5.2 (pre RC1).

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at
