Bug #3810 Highlight_String() error
Submitted: 2000-03-11 18:50 UTC Modified: 2002-10-01 13:39 UTC
From: gene at cinci dot rr dot com Assigned:
Status: Not a bug Package: Misbehaving function
PHP Version: 3.0.15 OS: Linux
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2000-03-11 18:50 UTC] gene at cinci dot rr dot com
<?
//let's say that test.php is a php script

echo highlight_string("link.php");

?>

Notice how at the end of parsing/highlighting the string, it prints a 1, i'm sure this is a debug error. Please fix, thanks.

Sorry, but the bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking
support questions. Your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself.
For a list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP,
please visit http://www.php.net/support.php

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

highlight_string already writes the output itself,
by echoing its result you add the '1' if the function returend true
