Description:
------------
Is it possible to have a setting to send a different ip address as the client ip in an ftp connection? There is a similar setting in lftp:

ftp:port-ipv4 (ipv4 address)
specifies an IPv4 address to send with PORT command. Default is empty which means to send the address of local end of control connection.

Source binding is a planned feature for PHP 5.1 (for generic use with any socket related function or stream)

Unfortunately it's too late in the release cycle of PHP 5.0 to include this functionality (we're in "feature freeze" mode which means that only bugfixes can be added at this point).

A backport to PHP 5.0 *may* be made available as a patch, however I'm not making any guarantees on that count.
