Description:

ftell returns NULL instead of false when passed argument is not a valid filehandle

Reproduce code:
---------------
$fd=fopen("tmp.txt");
$res=ftell($fdd);
var_dump($res);

Expected result:
----------------
(bool)false

Actual result:
--------------
NULL

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
