I find some problem linking PHP with Oracle 7.3.2 libraries on a SCO OpenServer 5.0.4. The problem are on the detection of the Oracle version .
1) the istruction: ORACLE_VERSION=`grep '"ocommon"' $ORACLEINST_TOP/orainst/unix.rgs | sed 's/ */:/g' | cut -d: -f 6 | cut -c 2-4` fails on "sed 's/ */:/g'". For resolve the problem i have forced on configure the Oracle version.
2) configure detect a shared library, but the link istruction don't work. For resolve the problem i have modified configure : if test -f $ORACLEINST_TOP/$ORACLE_LIBDIR/libclntsh.s? -a \
                -f $ORACLEINST_TOP/$ORACLE_LIBDIR/libclntsh.a
for forcing to use ORACLE_STLIBS

3) the instuction of make install fail if the apache/src/modules/php3 directory exist!

Thank you and good work!

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately, PHP 3 is no longer supported. Please download
the latest version of PHP 4 from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.
