snmpget returns nothing,(php 3.0.9 returns correct values on the same config)

compiled as apache module (1.3.9) 
with-gd --with-mysql --with-snmp --with-apache 

ucd-snmp4.0.1 with ZERO_LENGHT_COMMUNITY set to 1
no errors in errorlog
