Redhat 7.3 w/ openssl 9.7a Apache 1.3.27

 './configure' '--enable-pic' '--enable-shared' '--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql' '--with-apache=../apache' '--with-exec-dir=/usr/bin' '--with-gettext' '--with-gd' '--with-freetype-dir=/usr' '--with-jpeg-dir' '--with-png-dir' '--with-pdflib=/usr/local' '--with-zlib' '--enable-magic-quotes' '--enable-safe-mode' '--enable-sockets' '--enable-sysvsem' '--enable-sysvshm' '--enable-track-vars' '--enable-yp' '--enable-ftp' '--with-sybase=/usr/local/freetds' '--with-db' '--with-gdbm' '--enable-wddx' '--without-oracle' '--without-oci8' '--with-xml' '--with-mhash=/usr/local' '--disable-short-tags'

I receive this error sporadically while using a site which worked perfectly up until 4.3.1

If I reload the page the page executes properly.

I am facing the same problem of session_start The session id contains illegal characters. This is due to invalid characters in session_id. Session id is generated randomly. Please let me know PHPSESSID is contains invalid characters.
