cvs.php.net should hide deleted dirs. Most of the dirs listed at http://cvs.php.net/cvs.php/phpweb are not there anymore...

I think that's a CVS 'bug'.

Chora should not show empty dirs..that's the fix.

Yep, and while we are at it, Chora also prints out charcoding errors and warnings, when viewed with a browser with non PHP-supported encoding requested... summary changed to reflect this... Isn't there a Chora update for this (new version)?

This is really a feature of CVS. Compare http://cvs.php.net/ with http://cvsweb.php.net/ and you see both behave the same way. I can't get any errors with chora, maybe you should have given url with which you got them?
