When i try to do a search on this mirror by the URL it fails.

As i read in your arthicle this should work in all mirrors, so i'm reporting it.

I've sent the webmaster of the mirror a message. It will hopefully be fixed soon.

We should monitor this, it may be fixed as the mirror updates (see latest fixes in .htaccess and README.mirror).

still doesn't work, but mirror setup problems
do not belong in this database IMHO

Well, in some cases it turned out, that a software problem is causing the strange mirror behaviour, so code correction was needed in CVS.
