Hi -
  This problem exists in 4.1.2 and 4.2.0RC2.  In the file ext/gd/gd.c there is an #ifdef that tests for HAVE_GD_WMBP instead of HAVE_GD_WBMP (simple typo).

It's line 1008 in 4.2.0RC2 and 976 in 4.1.2
