I've installed the netscape ldap sdk (both v3.0 and v3.1) in /usr/local/ldap. When I configure/compile php with a --with-ldap=/usr/local/ldap and then install the module, apache hangs on starting. I was able to get php to work with openldap, but not with the netscape sdk. What's going on here? Thanks. Please reply via email.

Unfortunately, PHP 3 is no longer supported. Please download
the latest version of PHP 4 from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
