OS: Sun Solaris 8
       Apache Version: 1.3.19
       Php Version: php-3.0.18

I have currently encoutered bug 8690 you have annouced closed.

The solution you proposed not work.

I try to remove status.cache file in php-3.0.18 directory
configure
make clean
make
but it fail again with the same messages.

For information I have no status.cache file in apache-1.3.19 directory.

Then I try to install the apache/php/mysql using Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) support methode
but i encoutered the bug 5464.

When i try to start httpd i have the following messages :
error:
undefined symbol: mysql_field_count . then Apache will not start.

Best regards.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately, PHP 3 is no longer supported. Please download
the latest version of PHP 4 from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.
