Can't load MySQL module supplied with PHP Win32 binaries.
When included in PHP3.INI, produces errmsg: "unknown function mysql_*". When loaded dynamically via dl(),
produces system errmsg that format of dll is illegal.

IO activity logger said that php.exe really refers to that dll: opened, read, closed...

No errors was logged into any logfiles (turned on).
This was on several Win98 machines (russian release), using different providers to download installation kit, physically disconnected... The same result. But all OK on any Win95 / OSR / WinNT4 / NT SP3 / NT SP4 I tried to turn into PHP.

All attempts to fix this problem via configfile was failed. HELP PLZ!

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately, PHP 3 is no longer supported. Please download
the latest version of PHP 4 from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.
