Description:
------------
PHP doesn't accept the bundeled magic.mime file but the Apache magic file.

Tested with latest Win32 CVS build (200401311130) on Windows 2000 SP3 and Windows XP SP1

PHP 5.0.0b3 doesn't accept either one but the snapshot accepts the Apache file.

Reproduce code:
---------------
-- php.ini
mime_magic.magicfile = "/path/to/bundeled/magic.mime"

-- code
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Expected result:
----------------
mime_magic

mime_magic support => enabled

Actual result:
--------------
mime_magic

mime_magic support => invalid magic file, disabled

RTFM:

"The extension needs a copy of the simplified magic file that is distributed with the Apache httpd."

And it works fine for me with the Apache provided file.

How about setting it to Feedback?
I RTFM and checked everything twice.

Tested again 5.0.0b3 and CVS on another WinXP that had never seen any PHP version and there are the same problems.

       |  5b3 | 5CVS
-------+------+------
PHP    | FAIL | FAIL
-------+------+------
Apache | FAIL |  OK

Why is there a magic.mime bundeled with PHP when you can't use it?
