What exactly caused a segmentation fault?
Was it PHP, or gcc/cc1/cc during compilation?

Please provide a little more information.

regards,
Derick

just as an additional note:
a gcc dying wich segfault is most likely
related to hardware problems like shaky
rams or orverheated cpu

does it alwas fail on the same point
or randomly?

Some how I managed to compile with same conditions. Can not say what was wrong... Sorry for wasting your time.
