I need to incorporate a PHP engine into a program which is very similar
to a web server.

I am thoroughly familiar with the documentation and I have written
normal extensions to PHP to call functions in a library. No problem.

Have I overlooked the SAPI docs?

Is there a simple example?

If not I will have to hack away at the Apache SAPI but I'd rather have a
route map!

Thanks.

There is no documentation on this, but it would be nice if you could
write something down on this, while hacking away on the apache SAPI.

The documentation is still missing. So let's keep this
report open until it's really written..

Whoever designed that stuff should write the document.
