i need a way to include centralized .inc-files (owned by root or whoever) in php-scripts (owned by different users). unfortunately php's safe_mode wont let me...

how about an option to disable the safe_mode restrictions in directories included in open_basedir?

request is obsolete now, as safe_mode_include_dir has been introduced. thanks!
