http://au2.php.net/manual/en/enchant.installation.php still refers exclusively to PECL, even though it's now bundled with PHP.

I'll fix this up tomorrow; just reminding myself before I go to bed.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
