Presently the libldap bundled with Solaris 7 (package SUNWlldap) is
not correctly recognized. I suggest addind support for this.
Here is a workaround:
Enter in php-config: #define LDAP_API_VERSION 2004
Run configure --with-ldap ....
make
Final linking will fail; repeat the  final failed command manually but add
-lldap

This should be fixed in CVS now. Please try the latest snapshot from http://snaps.php.net/

Reopen this bug report if it still doesn't work.
