# make object
foo = new Foo;

# now  call undefined method:

First, your script is invalid. PHP requires $ before variable names. Second, check your error-reporting settings and enable error-reporting to see what's happened. If you have a crash case, please supply valid reproducing script and backtrace, if possible.

OK, the example was invalid (It was written out of mind, without testing)

But: my error_reporting(); is set to 64

The Script stops without saying anything

and that's it!
the value for error_reporting is a bitmask
and 64 is only the bit for compile_error set
all other types of errors wont show any message
please use symbolic values, especially E_ALL
when setting error_reporting
