Hi,

in version 3 i could send mails over the IIS smtp-server without any problem. in the new release 4.0.1pl2 and also in 4.0 the mails didn't send.

no errormsg is given in the $php_errormsg it could be a timeout from the server.

all entrys in php.ini under [Mail function] are the same...

does it still occur? please provide some configuration and example code, which port lives your smtp on (25?)
