Using Slackware 7.0. PHP 4.0 Beta 4 works great but RC1 dies when compiling.

Configured with:
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql/ --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12 --enable-track-vars --disable-debug --disable-magic-quotes --disable-shared

make generates the following error:

include -I/root/apps2/apache_1.3.12/src/os/unix -I/usr/local/mysql//include -I/root/apps2/php-4.0RC1/ext/xml/expat/xmltok -I/root/apps2/php-4.0RC1/ext/xml/expat/xmlparse  -DXML_BYTE_ORDER=12 -D_REENTRANT -g -O2  -c basic_functions.c && touch basic_functions.lo
basic_functions.c:324: `php_if_dl' undeclared here (not in a function)
basic_functions.c:324: initializer element for `basic_functions[201].handler' is not constant

Problem gone after changing "--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql/" to just ""--with-mysql". No idea why.
