I even tried after 4 days and still it is showing the same error text. Read between "---" marks)

"ttp://in.php.net/ttp://www.php.net/get..."?

I can't reproduce this on in.php.net nor in2.php.net

Thanks for your reply. But I'm still unable to download the documentation :(

The error page url (as shown in the browser is) : http://in2.php.net/manual-lookup.php?pattern=ttp%3A%2F%2Fin2.php.net%2Fttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.php.net%2Fget%2Fphp_manual_en.html.gz%2Ffrom%2Fa%2Fmirror&lang=en

It goes to this page after I click on English, Single HTML file link on http://www.php.net/download-docs.php page.

In fact clicking on any of these links produces similar error for me :(

Could you provide a direct link for the documentation download such as http://www.php.net/..../html.gz or something similar that will directly fetch me the file?

Appreciate your patience.

I still can't find any mirror that does this.

(You can choose your preferred mirror on php.net/my.php)

OK> I figured out the problem now. Its Windows XP - SP2 is causing problem but I don't know why. I tried with Win 2k machine and it is downloading it properly. Not checked the file contents yet.

The download instructions for XP-SP2 says about unblocking but actually it doesn't proceed till that step. Probabally you need to update the instructions saying Its not possible to download for XP-SP2 with IE combination.

(I'm still not sure what's wrong with XP-SP2 though, but anyways)

Thanks.
