Authentication Realm = 'unknown' with Netscape 4.7 under Windows 98, and with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 it's

UID'deifned realm in php3-script' --> thus the Linux UID comes before the 'original' realm, and with Nestcape, the Awhole Realm isn't recognized.

The following sites are running the same o/s, etc but thius on different servers. [from one hosting company]

http://www.internetplaza.nl/auth.php3

Source : http://www.aitsh.com/dev/php3/pop/auth.txt

The servers are running PHP3.0.12, compiled on 1 server, and thus ONE phpInfo file is enough [I hope]

SAFE_MODE is truned on, so is this maybe the cause of UID before Auth-Realm ?

How to solve this 'problem' ???

Thanks in advance,

Yes, this is because of safe mode.
