This is a virus I discovered. It was in the file PHP_MHASH.DLL and the virus is called BO2K.RC6 see:  http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/bo2k.shtml

I deleted everything so I am afraid I cannot tell which version of PHP it was. It would be wise to check each of your files with a good up to date virus checker. The one I use was AntiVir of http://www.hbedv.com/ so not even a market leader. Should not be difficult for you to keep everything reasonably clean I think.

It is impossible to have an virus in the code generated from CVS.

You must have got that virus via an other source. Only www.php.net contains the official php_mhash.dll, and it is virus-free with my virus-scanner...
