manipulating an array like this will make apache segfault:

$array[0] = "x";
$array = $array[0];
$array[0] = $array[1];

tested in 4.0.5, 4.0.4pl1 and 4.0.3pl1... all segfault

Doesn't segfault for me with PHP 4.0.6RC4 but I get 
this into error_log:
