I reported this bug earlier and it was claimed that it was fixed in CVS, however, the php_pgsql.dll in the .zip version of the windows binaries for PHP 4.0.5 still does not have this function present.

Can you please tell how you concluded that his function
doesn't exist? As I look at the sources now, it clearly
IS there. When you try to use it, does it give some
error message?

it *is* fixed in the cvs, but 4.0.5 was branched before that change was commited.
