Description: ------------ The page: http://php.net/manual/en/apd.installation.php Says the following: "Make sure you have installed the CGI version of PHP"... However I could not find any supporting documentation to back this up nor could I think of a reason why this would be necessary. Because of this I tried installing into my php install which was set up as an apache module and sure enough it worked without any problems. I suspect that the manual meant to say CLI and not CGI. Completely understandable, Gerry. It wasn't directed as a jab at you. And actually, default status on a closed project for developers is "Closed," so if it's otherwise on the reporting side, you've just discovered another reportable bug. Lucky you! ;-P Thanks! ~ DanI've briefly consulted with Stephen Hawking and Michio Kaku, and neither is entirely sure what happens when you report a bug on the bug reporter.... so keep your fingers crossed that we don't wind up in a parallel universe where Futurama watches us. Oh, and yes: report it as a "PHP.net website problem." When in doubt, use your best judgment (like that), because it can always be reclassified on our end as appropriate. And thank you very, very much, once again! ~ Dan
